IT Technician
Location: Barcelona, Spain
Salary: DOE
Type: Full Time - Must have visa authorization to work in Spain

What Will You Do?

As an IT technician, you will be part of the EMEA operations department and will also report directly to the COO. You’ll take main responsibilities and make sure that both the employees’ computers as well as the office IT equipment function correctly.

This role requires the candidate to work at the office a high portion of the time. The rest will be teleworking.

Employee equipment management 

  • Help desk: Troubleshooting of hardware and software issues in person as well as remotely
  • Identification of needs and technical requirements for the purchase of computers and peripherals
  • Set up and maintenance of employees’ IT equipment (iOS, Windows & Linux)
  • Purchase, install, and configure basic software (antivirus, firewall, Adobe Reader, Skype, MS Office, printers, etc.)
  • Control and management of employee hardware and software

Office equipment management

  • Office connectivity management (WiFi, cable connections, VPNs)
  • Control and configuration of audiovisual equipment (monitors & projectors in meeting rooms)
  • Printers, scanners, etc.

Other functions

  • Control of software tools and active software licences (global function)
  • Interaction with external suppliers where necessary

Soft Skills

  • Good communication skills (with regards to the helpdesk function, the candidate will be the direct point of contact for C-level executives, employees and external suppliers)
  • Proactive and dynamic
  • Team player
  • A high sense of responsibility, confidentiality and diligence is required

Hard Skills 

  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience as an IT technician
  • Education: CFGS (technology)
  • Languages: Spanish (native), English (B1)

You will be working at our newly refurbished and expanded headquarters in Barcelona, with excellent facilities for all employees. A part of your work will be remote (teleworking).
